After the film, Lisa Gossels will join us for a discussion of the film. Wednesday, August 3 Explo Art Show Tonight is the time to pull out those glasses you've been hiding in your luggage, grab a cup of coffee, and brush up on your expressionistic theory for the Explo art classes' art show. This exposition of student work is sure to be a swanky event, so bring that girl or guy you've been meaning to ask out or just chill out with some friends. You have probably met at least one insanely talented artist in these two and a half weeks and you know there are plenty more out there. Come see their work because it's not often you get the chance to be around this much talent. Mission 0 Nothing says summer like an outdoor concert! Exploring a new landscape of underground pop, Mission 0 has been called "an acoustic groove in an electronic suit." Featuring shimmering vocals layered over a diverse mix of instruments and percussion, the band's sound ranges from rootsy, aching soul to dark, techno-infused rock. PWG Fitness Center Get a workout in at the largest indoor gym in the Northern Hemisphere! Yale’s Payne Whitney Gymnasium features everything one could want in their fitness regime, and is open for extended evening hours. Friday, August 5 Explopalooza As the session draws to an end, students are invited to share their talents and skills as part of Explopalooza. Students in dance, theater, and music classes present their final performances. Come watch your fellow Explo students show off what they have learned during the session! |
