Princeton Review | Senior Program

Students interested in using the afternoon academic block to focus on improving test-taking strategies or study skills for the SAT, PSAT, or ACT can take a 3-week Princeton Review course.
Princeton Review courses meet Monday - Friday, 2:00 - 4:00pm each day (with the exception of the second Wednesday of each session). There is an additional fee for each Princeton Review course. The cost of each course is listed at the bottom of the course description. See sidebar for refund policy. Students who choose not to enroll in a Princeton Review course must sign up to take mini-courses during the afternoon academic block.
The Princeton Review courses listed below were offered for the summer of 2010. The 2011 Princeton Review offerings will be made available in January.

Students may enroll in an SAT preparation course that will prepare them for all sections of the SAT. The course involves two full-length practice SATs with personalized score reports, a thorough review of all material covered on the SAT, and review of the The Princeton Review’s exclusive test-taking techniques. There will be daily homework to be completed in the late afternoon or evening.
Cost: $600

Students preparing for the PSAT have the opportunity to enroll in Princeton Review’s PSAT Introduction course. Students will be given three practice exams to help pinpoint strengths and weaknesses and gauge progress. The course covers test-taking strategies and problem-solving skills for students who need an introduction to the PSAT and a vocabulary boost.
Cost: $600

Students enroll in an ACT preparation course
that will prepare them for all sections on the
ACT. These courses are open to Day and
Residential students. The course involves two
full-length practice ACTs with personalized score
reports, a thorough review of all material
covered on the ACT, and review of The
Princeton Review’s exclusive test-taking
techniques. There will be daily homework to be
completed in the late afternoon or evening.
Minimum of 10 students needed to run this
course.
Cost: $600

Participants may improve their all-around study skills in Princeton Review’s Study Smart course. Students in this course participate in drills and games specifically designed to impact grades. Study Smart teaches students valuable study skills and techniques for reading comprehension, answering essay questions, writing papers, and analyzing information from textbooks. Students will learn to think, listen, write, and, read in new ways systematically designed to raise grades.
